| It all started with a desktop-PC sim with a few screens. With a lot of help from Patric I got myself a homemade 2/3 MIP. I also got the MCP and EFIS from CPFlight and made a construction out of that. This all worked well until I realised that I wanted more realism than I could build on my own. So, eventually, I ordered a Near-Scale 737NG MIP with all the hardware from Flightdecksolutions. I kept the original design, which means that the MIP is actually hanging from the glareshield support section that also holds the MCP and the both EFIS panels. | |

| January 15 2005: I am currently working on finalising the MIP and glareshield section and getting it all back in working condition. At the same time I do some work on the ELITE overhead panel as well as having the pedestal in the works. A lot of soldering and interfacing remains! As interface I primarily use the MCPEX1 board from CPFlight. | |
| Some real aircraft parts has been added like genuine Boeing landinglight switches, Dzus- and Boeing panel screws all found on eBay. Currently working on wiring it all up and get it flyable. Time off from that spent on the overhead - just can´t resist those panels just lying there on the floor. After the overhead, which surely will take some time with all the LED´s, it´s time for the easy part on the 737NG, the pedestal. Here I put my hopes to Peter at FDS to make it easy for me...Outside view is a totally different headache! | |
